This morning we announced The Current’s 18th Anniversary Weekend with Semisonic! Semisonic are local legends and a cornerstone of 90’s music. The members of Semisonic have an impact beyond just the band’s success. Dan Wilson’s songwriting résumé includes Grammy nominated "Closing Time", which he wrote for Semisonic; Grammy Award winning songs "Not Ready to Make Nice", co-written with The Chicks; and "Someone Like You", co-written with Adele. Before Semisonic, Dan Wilson and bandmate John Munson were members of the band Trip Shakespeare, who’s local success is immortalized by a star on First Avenue. Munson continues his musical legacy through his work with the New Standards, along with Chan Poling of The Suburbs. The Semisonic trio continue to contribute to the music industry - local and beyond.

This morning we highlight the world of Semisonic. For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs from Semisonic and their solo work and side projects do you want to hear?
