Coffee Break: World Mental Health Day
by Mac Wilson
October 10, 2023

Today is World Mental Health Day, an international holiday dedicated to mental health awareness, education, and advocacy against negative stigma and perceptions. Today is meant to be a day to talk about mental health and show support for those who struggle.
The holiday was first celebrated in 1992 by the World Federation for Mental Health — an international organization focused on promoting the advancement of mental health awareness that is celebrating their 75th anniversary this year.
This morning, let’s do some songs that feature activities that help promote mental health. From taking a jog outside, to spending a quiet night in — anything counts! As long as it’s something you do to take some time for yourself.
For today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, which songs that feature activities that promote mental health do you want to hear?
