There are so many ways to greet your neighbors. Sometimes it’s a simple hi, hello, or even a smile across the room. Today we’re celebrating National Say Hi Day, which was established by The Say Hi Foundation on June 11, 2021. The foundation was founded in memory of Joseph Anthony Cinotti, a child with special needs who passed away at the age of 15 in 2018.

According to the foundation, Joseph had a joy for life and his favorite thing to do was say hi to others with a smile. The holiday is a reminder that a simple word can brighten someone’s day and change their mood for the better. Let’s celebrate National Say Hi Day — and Joseph’s memory — with music.

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs about saying hi or hello would you like to hear?
