July 26, 2024

The Summer Olympics are finally here! Opening ceremonies kick off later today with a preshow starting at 11 a.m. CST and the ceremony at 12:30 p.m. More than a billion people are expected to tune into the festivities broadcast on TV and NBC streaming platforms.
How to watch the 2024 Olympics opening ceremonyThere’s a different take on the Parade of Nations this year. Instead of walking into the stadium on foot, participating athletes will take part by boat on the Seine River, passing iconic buildings like the Louvre and the Notre-Dame de Paris before ending near the Eiffel Tower. There will also be musical performances. Lady Gaga and Céline Dion are expected to perform Édith Piaf’s “La Vie en Rose” as a duet, and it’s been rumored that Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, and French singer Aya Nakamura will also take the stage, though those artists had not been confirmed at the time of this writing. Before today’s ceremony, let’s get pumped for Team U.S.A. with music!
