The year 2021 brought some changes with it. We were glad to see venues start to open back up after the onset of the pandemic; we got the show Squid Game; and Brittany Spears was granted release from a 13-year conservatorship. Adele was also in the news after she released her album, 30. Her first release in six years ended up being nominated for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards.
The Current's Top 89 Songs of 20212021 was also the year that English rock duo Wet Leg burst onto the scene with their debut single, “Chaise Longue,” and you voted it as your favorite song of the year!
