The Twin Cities Pride Festival kicks off on Friday at Loring Park in Minneapolis, and there will be special programming here on The Current to celebrate the weekend! In addition to special songs each hour from artists in the LGBTQIA+ community, Radio Free Current will be Pride-themed on Saturday from 7-10 pm, and Kendall Stewart will host on-air dance parties on Friday and Saturday nights!

If you make it to the festival, be sure to stop by our booth at Loring Park, and keep a lookout for the Minnesota Public Radio team at the Twin Cities Pride Festival Parade that runs from 11 am - 2 pm on Sunday! Today, let’s jumpstart the festivities with a danceable Pride-themed playlist!
