The idea of being unselfish is so popular that there is even a holiday to celebrate donating to others. National Give Something Away Day is celebrated each year on July 15, and this year is even more special as it marks the 10th anniversary of the day that was created to encourage generosity in all its forms.

You can mark the holiday by cleaning out your closets and donating what you don’t need, helping out at a food bank, or even assisting a neighbor by giving away your time. One thing is for certain — being generous helps others, so today let’s share the wealth with music.
