This school year is kicking off with mixed emotions as a layer of sadness and anxiety is paired with the excitement of returning to the classroom and making new friends. The day after Labor Day means the fair is closed for the season, the school buses are running again, and lazy summer days are replaced with the hustle and bustle of a new school year.  

Kids (and grown-ups!) across the state are heading back to the classroom on Tuesday, so let’s create a scholarly playlist to help kick off the new year!
