Coffee Break: Twist on Tradition

Many artists have taken a traditional folk or blues song and made it their own. Sometimes it happens with a cover, and sometimes it can be part of a song that is incorporated into something new, or even just a reference.

Often, an artist performing a new twist on a traditional number can introduce it to a whole new audience, and sometimes the revived version can become more popular than the original. Let’s create a playlist of time-honored songs that have been brought into a new age.
