Coffee Break: College

Friday is College Radio Day, and it’s a time to highlight the impact and importance of student-run stations and what they bring to communities across the country – and to the music industry.
Arguably, one of the best things about college is the campus radio station and the layer of indie cool that gets broadcast through the airwaves. Maybe you discovered your new favorite band on the dial or were even a student worker at the station. Maybe you had the must-listen call-in show that everyone talked about, or supported the station as a community member. Let’s revisit the good old days (even if they’re right now!) by creating a playlist of your favorite college jams.
So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs that you discovered on college radio would you like to hear?
