Each year, Pantone picks an official color for the year ahead. For 2026, it’s a shade of white called ‘Cloud Dancer.’ A statement from Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, says that the hue (PANTONE 11-4201, BTW) offers “promise of clarity” and is “a conscious statement of simplification.”

The subject of clouds seems to billow through music in multiple ways as well. Lyrics, albums, and even band names reference the sky. Let’s go cloud gazing today with music!
