Coffee Break: 67?
by Jill Riley and Nilufer Arsala

At the end of each year, dictionaries pick a word or phrase that sums up what the year was about. For Dictionary.com, it was 67.
Careful- it’s not sixty-seven, but said as each number individually… as in six-seven. It’s an interesting choice for a dictionary to choose, mostly because no one really knows what it means.
According to Dictionary.com, searches for the meaning of the phrase spiked last summer when school-aged children began using it, and their adults tried to figure out what exactly they were saying.
The meme has roots in the song “Doot Doot (6 7)” by Skrilla, but the meaning remains elusive. Still, let’s celebrate the viral trend by creating a playlist of six… or seven… songs.
So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs with the numbers six, seven, or both(!) in the title would you like to hear?
