Oddly enough, there is a whole week to celebrate silence! National Silent Record Week is the first week of January each year, and it’s a time to enjoy some peace and quiet.

We can’t do a whole half hour of silence on the radio, BUT there are plenty of songs that sing about the value of unplugging and taking a little break. Let’s create a playlist that celebrates the sound of silence.
