On Thursday evening, Gov. Tim Walz issued a proclamation declaring a Day of Unity to honor the life and memory of Renee Good on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026. Good was shot and killed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning.
