The new class of inductees into the Songwriters Hall of Fame has been announced! The group includes some familiar names, like Alanis Morissette, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons from Kiss, Kenny Loggins, and Taylor Swift, who at 36 years old will become the youngest woman to be inducted into the Hall and the second-youngest overall. (According to Billboard, Stevie Wonder was only 32 when he was inducted.)

This year’s class also includes Christopher “Tricky” Stewart, who co-wrote and co-produced Beyoncé's blockbuster hit "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and Rihanna's "Umbrella”; Terry Britten and Graham Lyle, who wrote hits for Tina Turner like "What's Love Got To Do With It" and "We Don't Need Another Hero”; and Walter Afanasieff who wrote Mariah Carey's songs "Hero" and "All I Want For Christmas is You."

Songwriters become eligible for induction 20 years after their first commercial song release, and the new class will be officially inducted during the ceremony and gala this summer. Until then, let’s put together a playlist of songs from the new honorees.

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs from the 2026 inductees would you like to hear?
