Coffee Break: Self-Titled Debuts
by Jill Riley and Nilufer Arsala
February 20, 2026

Sometimes, the best name for a record is the name of the band… especially if it’s your first release. It really got us thinking about how many albums are made by the people who created them. Let’s examine this trend by creating a playlist of songs that came from records named after the artists.
So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs from self-titled debut records would you like to hear?
