The film Dazed and Confused came out in 1993, but centered on fictional teenagers and their last day of school in 1976… May 28, 1976, to be exact.

That means one of our favorite coming-of-age comedies was set on this day, fifty years ago! It also has a stellar soundtrack that was so big, it had to be split in two.

Dazed and Confused (the album) came out a few days after the movie premiered, and featured songs like “Slow Ride” by Foghat; “Schools Out” by Alice Cooper; and “Cherry Bomb” by The Runaways; while Even More Dazed and Confused dropped the following year with bangers from The Steve Miller Band, War, Seals and Croft, and Peter Frampton.

Before we keep on L-I-V-I-N, let’s craft a playlist of our favorite songs from Dazed and Confused.

So, for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs from Dazed and Confused would you like to hear?
