As part of Minnesota Music Month, singer-songwriter Ber — aka Berit Dybing, originally from Bemidji, Minnesota — participated in a live taping of The Local Show recorded in the Forum at Minnesota Public Radio. Ber's debut full-length album, 'Good, Like It Should Be,' released on April 3, 2026, just days before this recording session. On The Local Show, Ber performed solo versions of three songs off the new album before sitting down for a chat with The Local Show host, Diane.

"I moved [to Minneapolis] when I had literally nothing," Ber tells Diane, "and The Current started spinning my tunes, and it's fully the reason why I'm doing this today. ... I very much don't take this for granted."
