The Twin Cities Pride Festival kicks off on Saturday at Loring Park in Minneapolis, and this year, The Current is getting in on the fun! There will be special themed programming all weekend long on the station, and we’ll also be at the festival and in the parade!

Be sure to keep an eye out for The Current’s van and for Local Show host, Diane, who will be spinning fun tunes to get you moving during this year’s parade!

From The Current: Broadcast Love Dance Party at Orchestra Hall

You can also join MPR at Orchestra Hall on Friday night for a Broadcast Love Dance Party that celebrates eleven years of marriage equality. Let’s get the party started a little bit early by creating a playlist of some of your favorite Pride-themed dance jams!

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what Pride-themed dance tracks would you like to hear?
