As the Eaux Claires Festival makes its return after an eight-year hiatus, music lovers are looking forward to performances from artists like Aaron Dessner, Aimee Mann, Dijon, and more. But while the festival is celebrating some of your favorite bands, it’s also putting a spotlight on the written word.

The festival will have a Writers In Residence program that runs concurrently with the music, where writers, poets, and illustrators will share their work and create new pieces. Festival-goers are encouraged to check out the program between bands, as the written word is celebrated alongside the music.
