With the rise of the Internet and social media, sharing music took on new forms. One of them was the blog.

People and publications would share news about bands on the rise that listeners should know, and the phenomenon gave rise to groups and artists like Cold War Kids, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Beirut, Kid Cudi, and more! Since Wednesday is National Blogger Day, let’s create a playlist of hits from the blog.

So for today’s 9:30 Coffee Break, what songs from bands or artists that came to fame during the blog era — from 2005-2012 (ish) — would you like to hear?
