The Morning Show is back from our State Fair adventure, and that means the 9:30 Coffee Break has also returned! As such, we are turning our attention to The Strokes and their influence on indie rock.

Author Steven Hyden has written a number of books about music. His latest is titled Is This It: The Never-Ending Rise and Fall of the Strokes (and Rock ‘n' Roll), and Steven will be talking about it during an event at The Turf Club later this evening. He’s also joining the Coffee Break today to provide expert analysis on the band and the impact it has had on music.
