Liz Phair is bringing her ‘Flannel and Fury’ tour to The Palace Theatre on Wednesday. While it’s an interesting name for a tour, the 90s rock icon told Consequence, “‘The Flannel and The Fury’ is a nod to 1990s alt-rock culture and the female-fronted bands who staked their claim to center stage in a male-dominated music industry.”

It seems like there’s no better way to celebrate the women and bands Phair is referring to than by creating a playlist of women who rock?!
