It’s officially the first day of fall! According to The Old Farmer’s Almanac, the fall equinox happens on Tuesday, September 22 in the Northern Hemisphere – specifically at 7:04 p.m. CST.

From this point on, days will get shorter as we inch closer to the winter solstice, and signs of the changing seasons are starting to show. One of our favorite signs is the changing colors of the season, and luckily, The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ Fall Color Map is back to help you keep track of the best places to see fall foliage on your next road trip.
