Born and raised in Minneapolis, Zeke has had a career that transcends genres at six different Twin Cities radio stations over the past 16 years. He grew up listening to powerful, funny, engaging, and impactful radio hosts, in a house filled with the sounds of Sade, Prince, and B.B. King. From a young age, he knew he wanted to work in radio. Growing up he remembers rushing home from school to watch Total Request Live with Carson Daly, which exposed him to all different musical sounds and genres. He got his first radio gig as an intern, and he credits Wyclef Jean for fueling his fire by telling him, “One day everyone in this room will work for you.” He recently had a full-circle moment to thank Wyclef for those words of encouragement.
Zeke has also been on tour with several bands, and some of his career highlights include interviewing Jack White, Questlove, Clairo, Local Natives, Brockhampton, and more. You can catch Zeke spinning country, rock, rap, pop, and everything in between. When not listening to music, you can find him enjoying a meal at one of our many local restaurants, barbequing, at a concert, or at a local craft brewery.
