On this United States of Americana we celebrated Trampled By Turtles with a handful of live tunes! They perform on July 5th at Bayfront Park in Duluth. We also caught new songs from Joshua Ray Walker, The War and Treaty and Patty Griffin!

One true sign of summer music festivals is the Blue Ox Festival in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. This time I’ll feature a handful of artist performing at the fest next weekend, including Margo Price, Orville Peck, Charlie Parr, Molly Tuttle and festival hosts Pert Near Sandstone! 

June is Pride Month! So, this time I featured artists that are part of the LGBTQIA+ community and a few pride anthems too!  We heard artists like Melissa Carper, Elton John, Vandoliers, Brandi Carlile, Indigo Girls & more!

It’s June, the unofficial beginning of Summer. On this episode I featured some road songs to inspire your summer road trips. We’ll hear songs from Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, Bob Dylan and more! I also debuted new songs from The Honeydogs and Rodney Crowell!

We’ll check out new songs from Charley Crockett, who performs at Surly Brewing Festival Field on August 23rd, Alison Krauss and Union Station at the Ledge Amphitheatre in Waite Park on June 6th, & a bunch more!

Gary Louris, has been making album for nearly 40 years with The Jayhawks. He’s also made a few albums of his own, including his latest Dark Country. Gary Louris dropped by a few weeks back to perform a couple of tunes and chat. That’s part of this show, plus the usual dose of new music!
