Tonight, Andrew W.K. brings his 'The Party Never Dies' tour to First Avenue. Before the show, he stopped into The Current to announce his first new album since 2009.

Singer/artist KenSoul and music producer Pete Stylez first connected in the Twin Cities before deciding to work on a project together in Los Angeles. Contributor Jeffrey Bissoy-Mattis recently caught up with KenSoul and Pete Stylez when they were in town to promote their upcoming release, 'Cali Vibes, Minnesota Nights.' In addition to talking about their new project, the two musicians also speak about their musical origins, their working relationship and the state of hip hop in Minnesota.
