Actor Timothee Chalamet was in town for a Bob Dylan tour of Hibbing, where the songwriter grew up. The tour included a stop at the high school’s stage, a 1920s-style, 1800-seat theater where Dylan performed as a student.

Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig talk to The Current’s Riley about the 10th anniversary of Lucius’ breakthrough album, ‘Wildewoman.’

The Madison-based artist will perform her jazzy, bossa nova, and folk-style music at The Current’s upcoming Emerging Artists Showcase with Nolen Sellwood on Saturday, Jan. 20. 

Emerging singer-songwriter Sellwood, currently based in Duluth, has his eye on making folk music accessible, appealing, and relevant to a younger generation.
