While on tour across the United States, U.K. band The Heavy Heavy were living a real-life version of their hit song ‘Miles and Miles’ when they visited The Current studio for a session hosted by Ayisha Jaffer.

After a long time away from Minnesota, Emily Haines and Jimmy Shaw of Metric return to The Current studio for a session hosted by Jill Riley.

Marcus Mumford released his first solo album, (self-titled), on September 16, although Mumford himself is uncertain about dubbing it a solo record. “I mean, it's the most collaborative piece of music I've ever worked on,” he says, “so calling it a solo record feels weird.”

Minnesota-based singer-songwriter Luke LeBlanc recently released ‘Fugue State,’ his fourth full album. LeBlanc and his band visited the Radio Heartland studio to play songs from the new record and to talk with host Mike Pengra.
