Glass Animals triumphantly return to touring and performing in the wake of drummer Joe Seaward's life-threatening accident that had put the band on hiatus as Seaward recovered. 'It's good to be back,' says frontman Dave Bayley.

Brittney Parks, who performs under the moniker Sudan Archives, was born in Cincinnati and classically trained in violin: the 26-year-old is now based in Los Angeles and uses a complex system of drum loops and effects to propel her music beyond classification.

On Saturday, Jan. 11, Low Cut Connie frontman Adam Weiner played a Microshow at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater in Minneapolis. The generous performance featured great songs on piano or guitar, interspersed with stories about the origins of many of the songs. Weiner also delighted the Minnesota audience with covers of songs by Bob Dylan and Prince.

The year 2020 finds Cold War Kids in a new creative chapter: they've released the first in a planned trilogy of albums titled 'New Age Norms,' and they've dropped an acoustic EP, 'Strings & Keys.' Ahead of their sold-out show at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Cold War Kids' Nathan Willett and Matt Schwartz visited The Current studio to play songs and to talk with host Mac Wilson.

Montreal band Half Moon Run visited The Current studio to play songs from their latest album, 'A Blemish in the Great Light,' as well as a track from their 2012 release, 'Dark Eyes.'
