Loki's Folly performed live on the Back to School episode of the Local Show on Sunday, and chatted with host Andrea Swensson about their musical beginnings and what it's like to play a 21+ show when you're under 18.

With their latest album, 'Fever Dream,' gaining them an ever-growing number of fans in the U.S., three members of Iceland's Of Monsters and Men stopped at The Current to perform acoustic versions of a couple songs from the record.

Following the release of their new album, 'Blood Moon,' John Swardson and Bad Blood stopped by The Current studio to talk with host Andrea Swensson on The Local Show.

The Shreveport, La., five-piece visited The Current to play songs from 'Power,' their second full-length release. 'I'd never really had an anxiety about a sophomore record,' says lead singer and guitarist AJ Haynes. 'You know: buy the ticket, take the ride.'

Returning to The Current studio after three years, Barns Courtney -- accompanied by a full band -- plays songs from his new album releasing on Friday. 'My album's called '404' like the 404 error when a computer's searching for a website that's not there anymore,' Courtney explains. 'I like the metaphor of searching for memories and emotions that no longer exist when you get down to it.'

The constantly busy singer-songwriter, violinist and ukulele player Amanda Shires visited The Current studio to play songs from her acclaimed album 'To The Sunset' and to talk about how she and her friends are working to change that Nashville sound.

'I think people know if they're coming to a Tuxedo show, they're coming to dance,' says Mayer Hawthorne of Tuxedo. The same could be said of their session in The Current studio.

The singer-songwriter, pianist and composer visited The Current studio to play songs from his latest album, 'Absolute Zero,' and to talk about his collaborations with artists including Justin Vernon and S. Carey of Bon Iver, and with film director Spike Lee.
