After spending time at their home in North Wales to complete their latest album, 'Hitch,' the Joy Formidable stopped in to The Current studio for a session hosted by Mary Lucia.

17-year-old St. Paul artist Dizzy Fae makes her radio debut, performing three songs and chatting with The Local Show's Andrea Swensson about her blossoming career.

Less than two years ago, Barns Courtney was selling computers. Now he's on tour promoting his music. 'Giving up was never really something I felt I could do,' Courtney says, thinking back on a low point in his music career. 'Because what else am I going to do? I'm a terrible computer salesman!' Barns Courtney stopped in to The Current's studio for a session hosted by Mary Lucia.

Growing up in northern Wisconsin, one of Phil Cook's biggest influences was Bruce Hornsby. 'He was somebody who was playing and he could really sing and he had all this talent and was writing songs,' Cook says. 'The dude changed my life.' Cook now lives in North Carolina, and he stopped at The Current to play some songs off his new album, 'Southland Mission.'

Catfish and the Bottlemen traveled from their native Wales to the shores of the States to perform live in The Current studio ahead of their new album's release.

Thao Nguyen took a chance in writing about something very personal on her latest record, 'A Man Alive,' but the risks paid off. 'Whatever hardship I've encountered with being this openly sad, it's been superseded by how incredible people have been,' she says when Thao and the Get Down Stay Down visit The Current's studio for a session hosted by Jade.

Following the release of their new album 7 HEARTS, Minneapolis' Kitten Forever stopped by The Current to perform live in-studio and to chat with Andrea Swensson of The Local Show.
