The 'Sign O' The Times' remastered Super Deluxe Edition is dropping today. Everything on the eight-CD collection was primarily recorded from the end of 1985 to the beginning of 1987, a time for Prince that was incredibly prolific, experimental, and transformative. Over the course of this year and a half, Prince put together and scrapped three unreleased albums. All three of these albums were essential in getting to 'Sign O' The Times,' released on March 30, 1987.

The festival has now announced that its spring 2021 event will be at least partially virtual. At the same time, SXSW hasn't entirely given up hope that a live-in-person option could be part of the mix. 'SXSW is working with the City of Austin and public health authorities on plans for a physical event in 2021.'
