Jack Garratt's new Phase is our Album of the Week. The second song we've been playing from it debuts at No. 20. Garratt impressed Team Current when he played one of our Micro Shows recently. He's a "one-man band" with LOTS of gadgets and equipment, but when it all broke down, he thrilled everyone in the room with just his guitar and voice!

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win tickets to both of Bob Mould's gigs at First Avenue and his private #MicroShow at the Turf Club!

Kaleo make their debut on our Chart this week at No. 19. They're an Austin, Texas, based Icelandic band with a name that means "The Sound" in Hawaiian, and they were a delight to have in studio several weeks ago, especially lead singer JJ, who is in love with resonator guitars!

Dr. Dog are inducted to our Chart Hall of Fame for the very first time! They've been going now for 17 years, but this song comes from The Psychedelic Swamp, which was supposed to be their first album but never got released. It's a concept album about a guy called
Phrases who left this earth to explore the psychedelic swamp, and it has apparently shaped the rest of their career.

Lucius are inducted for the second time, and they impressed the New York Times reviewer at a sold-out show this weekend, with their "matching blue capes; ginger hair frozen into a swoop and shaved on the sides; and electric blue eye shadow!"

Bob Mould clambers up four places this week and returns to First Ave April 22 and 23. He's just added another show while he's in town; our Micro Show at the Turf Club, to which you can only win tickets through us. AND for voting this week, you can win a trifecta of tickets for ALL of those shows!!

Another old punk was in town this week; unfortunately, I missed Iggy because I just couldn't leave the sunny beauty of Lutsen in fresh snow! I'm sure Mr. Pop would appreciate that as apparently he exclaimed during a rousing set at Northrop, "I'd like to stay in Minnesota for the rest of my days!" And he ended the show with this week's No. 13 hit!

Hippo Campus have snatched the top spot this week, heading a cast of three bands on the Chart — along with Poliça and M. Ward — who will be joining us for this year's Rock The Garden at Boom Island. We announced the lineup this week. Tickets are on sale to the public, and Members have until next Tuesday to get a discount.
