This week get reacquainted with live hip hop artists Heiruspecs. Formed at St. Paul Central High School more than 15 years ago, the band is back in action this year with their 6th release Night Falls. Hear them perform cuts from the new record live in The Current studios.

We'll also chat with music reporter Andrea Swensson about the upcoming Minnesota Music Summit happening April 10-12th in downtown St. Paul, and we'll share music from two young and exciting Minnesota talents: vocalist Spooky Black, and emcee Rocky Diamonds.

And MPR marketing guru Ali Lozoff will be in to talk about April's artist of the month, Lifter Puller.
