This week on the The Local Show we'd like to remind you one more time, that Haley Bonar continues to be one of the most compelling singer-songwriters making music today. She's worked hard over the last 15 years developing her craft, and making fans the old fashioned way - one at a time. Her latest album Last War, out May 20th on Graveface Records, is simply fantastic. Hear Haley and her band perform songs from the new album in The Current studios, as we re-air the session and interview she did with Mary Lucia.
In hour two you'll be seated in front row of the Fitzgerald Theater for highlights from the Pert Near Sandstone concert performed in mid April a part of our Current Sessions at The Fitz series. The show was a release celebration for their latest album, The Hardest Part of Leaving, and the band welcomed a multitude of guest performers including members of Trampled By Turtles, and Nicholas David.
