I celebrated the final weekend of Women’s History Month with lots of new music from women on this Sunday’s United States of Americana. I’ll feature a couple from Sierra Ferrell’s excellent new album. I also have new ones from Hurray for the Riff Raff, Madeleine Peyroux & Sarah Gayle Meech. I will also spin a few artist who’ve recently announced Twin Cities shows and I’ll spin a country classic from Lefty Frizzell on the anniversary of his birth.
