Ahead of the Descendents/Buzzcocks show at the Palace, this week on Teenage Kicks, host Mac Wilson will play some other bands that do NOT have a "The" ahead of the band name. 

We'll also hear some Soul Coughing ahead of their unlikely reunion show, commemorate the anniversary of R.E.M.'s breakup, birthday wishes for Nick Cave, Joan Jett, and the late Leonard Cohen, mark the anniversary of Nirvana's In Utero, and the anniversary of the CD release of the one of the greatest compilations ever.
