This week on Teenage Kicks, we celebrate The Suburbs, who will be hosting a pair of gigs they’ve called the “Turf Takeover” next Friday, Nov. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Turf Club in St. Paul.

We’ll also celebrate Tina Weymouth’s birthday, as the longtime member of Talking Heads and co-founder (with her husband Chris Frantz) of the Tom Tom Club marks a milestone this year.
