Buoyed no doubt by being our Album of the Week last week, Alice Merton rises quickly to the top after only two weeks. She's starting her world tour in support of Mint in Europe in March. Coachella and Sandjam in April are the only USA dates so far announced.

Mitski is the highest new entry this week and continues her world tour down. She's part of the traveling Laneway Festival which starts next week in
New Zealand. She'll be back in the states in the spring including a gig at The Sylvee in Madison April 3.

Last time Cloud Cult played our Birthday Party (8th) they did a unique set of songs that The Current had played! This time they might play lots of songs we've never played when they headline Saturday night?!? This new one at #5 is from a planned album to come later in the year. But if you planned on being at First Ave and don't have a ticket... sorry, it's sold out! But there are still a few for Friday night, headlined by The Suburbs who I am pleased to say I get to introduce with Jade.

Hozier is back on at #9 and back hobnobbing with the stars at a huge benefit announced this week, Robert Plant and Sheryl Crow among others will play "LOVE ROCKS NYC" on March 7th.

After hanging with her girlfriends down in Mexico at the end of the month for the big Girls Just Wanna Weekend, Brandi Carlile, in again at eleven will headline a more sedated festival in TX.

The Raconteurs, led by Jack White and Brendan Benson, haven't released any music for 10 years. Number 12 this week is one of the first singles put on the Third Man Record label site last month. A full album and tour it's assumed will follow shortly, but first they have a special plan for Record Store Day.

It's only been four years since Broken Bells put out an album, but this colab of Dangermouse and James Mercer of The Shins is back at #19 with a single from their forthcoming album. Recently Paste magazine did a good job of breaking down what we know so far about this release.

The "King of the Dudes" EP comes out in physical form next Friday and the first track released from the new Sunflower Bean effort is back in our basement after a two week hiatus. They'll be opening for Interpol at The Palace on February 5.

Submit your Chart Show ballot this week for a chance to win a trip to Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, TN from June 13 thru 16, 2019!
