It was a beautiful day on Grand Avenue in St. Paul for Grand Old Day 2024. Performers at The Current’s Grand Stage were Yam Haus, Your Smith, and Charlie Parr. DJ and The Current host Shane Kramer was spinning tunes in between sets.

Back in February, Minneapolis band Kiss The Tiger performed for The Current's Winter Dig Out, featuring Brigitte Calls Me Baby and Friko.

Charlie Parr’s latest album, ‘Little Sun,’ released March 22. Just before embarking on tour, Parr visited The Current studio for a session hosted by Radio Heartland’s Mike Pengra.

Best friends Becky Shaheen and Laura Lou comprise the Twins of Franklin, who just released their second album, This Life. To mark the album’s release, they visited The Current studio to record a session for Radio Heartland.
