This Pride Month, celebrate the icons who paved the way, the legends leading the way, and the up-and-comers headed our way with The Current. There are many ways to listen and get involved all month long.
The Current’s Pride Stream, sponsored by MELSA (Twin Cities Public Libraries), is a 24-7 stream of music from LGBTQ+ artists and allies for all identities.

Twin Cities Pride Weekend
The Twin Cities Pride Festival will be held at Loring Park in Minneapolis Friday, June 26, to Sunday, June 28, 2026. The event will highlight the best in LGBTQIA+ entertainment on three stages, featuring over 650 unique vendors, including LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC community resources, artists, and businesses.
On Friday, June 26, Minnesota Public Radio will be at Twin Cities Pride Youth Night in Loring Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. That evening, the Broadcast Love Dance Party featuring DJ OMGIGI will take over Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. Doors open at 6 p.m.
On Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28, Minnesota Public Radio will host a booth in Loring Park, in the blue section of the park, near the corner of 15th Street and Willow Street. Make sure to stop by our booth to purchase MPR merchandise, enter for a chance to win fun giveaway items, and say hi to our team. Plus, on Sunday, June 28, be on the lookout for us in the Twin Cities Pride Festival Parade that runs from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
