Public broadcasters and security experts concluded it's not feasible for the war-torn country to host, organize and produce the event. They're now turning to the U.K., which placed second this year.

The Current has launched a new stream and app featuring hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, funk, electronica, and more — funded by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and developed in partnership with KMOJ’s HD2 station, 89.9 The Ice.

The album will be the pop star's first solo studio album in six years.
