The Duluth trio set the twitter world abuzz when they performed one song for 27 minutes, an experiential variation of "Do You Know How to Waltz?" from their 1996 studio album The Curtain Hits the Cast at Rock the Garden 2013.

Composer and electronic musician Dan Deacon is known for his experimental and interactive shows. When a lightning storm rolled through minutes before his outdoor set was set to begin, it sparked the idea to move his gear and the dance party underground, and the impromptu performance in Walker Art Center's parking garage gave an energized start for fans at Rock The Garden 2013. Highlights from the set are backed by Deacon's "Konono Ripoff No. 1."

Independent, electronic pop-rock band Metric headlined Rock The Garden 2013 and played an explosive set full of hits including "Youth Without Youth", the first single from their 2012 album Synthetica and second song in their RTG set.

As the sun was setting at Rock the Garden 2013, Southern California alternative rock band Silversun Pickups performed "Dots and Dashes" from their latest album Neck of the Woods and won over both new and old fans with their explosive set.

Legendary rocker Bob Mould and his band perform "The Descent" off his tenth solo album Silver Age. Mould's high-energy, 14-song set at Rock the Garden 2013 included songs from solo albums, his renowned punk band from the 80s Hüsker Dü and Sugar, his band from the 90s.

In an eerie new video from Low, the band plays inside a glitter-filled snow globe, wearing period costumes, while giant, alien creatures look on. It's a strange interpretation of "Plastic Cup," a song ostensibly about a friend's history of drug abuse and dependence on others.
